These projects are examples of Seattle architecture in new residential construction. They represent historic, traditional, northwest contemporary, and modern styles. As a Seattle architect, I enjoy the opportunity to work in a variety of architectural styles.....I do not have a design signature. I respond to the building site, it's context, and the goals and objectives of the client.
Cozy Cove House | Medina
This project is an example of Seattle architecture at a waterfront location. It
includes the demolition of an existing house, and the construction of a new
single-family house with a detached three car garage. Predominant views are to
the east to Lake Washington. The project totals approximately 8,450 SF and was
designed in a 'northwest contemporary' style that features wide overhangs and
The project includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, master suite, laundry room, and a guest suite on the main floor; and three bedrooms, two baths, a media room, mechanical room, and storage on the lower level.

Blue Ridge House | Seattle
The project included the demolition of an existing residence, and construction of a new single-family residence in Blue Ridge. The house is two-stories plus a daylight basement with a two car, attached garage. The house has a brick exterior, windows with true divided lites, French doors, and is designed in a Georgian Style with many traditional details.
The main floor includes an entry, living and dining room, a kitchen with eating space, a music room, and a powder room. The upper level has a master suite, two bedrooms, and a bath. The lower level has a guest bedroom and bath, laundry room, and a media / recreation room. RKK Construction was the contractor.
